The guest speaker for the second edition of Pioneer One talks was Mr. Gunasekaran, a professional with an experience of 20-25 years in the field of Information security and IT Infrastructure.
We were briefed in the first session regarding basic IT components and infrastructure, he followed on with a list of Do’s and Don’ts regarding various components of IT security. We were made aware of many ways by which hackers may try to steal confidential data and how to detect/prevent those attacks. He finished the session with a short note on the need for Cross Border Knowledge and its importance in the present-day world.
